It’s a shame that the dreams of such a great and esteemed man as Martin Luther King, Jr have been left behind. I truly admire this man, but those who have followed are a joke. How is it that in the last 45 years no one has stepped forward to continue his legacy and his dream? All we get are the political motivations of the likes of Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton, two guys who use racism to carry on their usefulness. Or we have those who cling to the anti-white, hate anybody but blacks, Louis Farrakhan and Malcolm X, two more embarrassments to the Black peoples’ cause.
Although I can’t stand the man’s policies, I thought the one thing Barack Hussein Obama could have done is help unite the country even further. Sadly, he has set us back 40 years by using the race card at every turn to garner votes.
Reflecting on the current state of affairs on the day which we celebrate such a wonderful human being is depressing.
