Thefts

Edwards Hunts Sproat, of Carlton Dunes Drive in Fernandina Beach, Fla., reported Monday that someone broke into his room at the Holiday Inn on Wintergreen Drive in Lumberton and stole $26,300 in items, including a phone, two iPads and $25,000 in jewelry, according to a police report.

Greg Jacobs reported Monday that someone stole a cash register drawer, valued at $100, that contained $112.84 in cash from Walmart on Fayetteville Road in Lumberton, according to a police report.

Bryan Baird, of Middle Street, Lumberton, reported Monday that someone broke into his home, causing $100 in damage to a window, and stole an iPad, valued at $450, according to a police report.

Terry Doyle reported Monday that on three occasions someone broke into a coin-operated air machine at Exxon on Roberts Avenue in Lumberton, causing $1500 in damage to the machine, and stole $200 in cash, according to a police report.

Sandy Morris reported Monday that someone stole $41.94 in items, including Christmas ornaments, from Walmart on Fayetteville Road in Lumberton, according to a police report.

Chad Skinner reported Monday that someone broke into his car and another car while they were parked on North Cedar Street, Lumberton, causing $200 in damage to each car, and stole the radios, valued at $200 each, according to a police report.

Odell Hardin, of Russell Road, Shannon, reported the tags missing from his car Monday, according to a police report.

Vandalism

Patsy Rogers, of Willis Avenue, Lumberton, reported Monday that her car had been spray-painted, causing $250 in damage, according to a police report.
