Thefts

Donald Southern reported Wednesday that six packs of rib-eye steaks, valued at $155.13, were stolen from Walmart on Fayetteville Road in Lumberton, according to a police report.

Janet Townsend, of Old Whiteville Road, Lumberton, reported Wednesday that someone kicked in the side door of her house, causing $500 in damage, and stole a Samsung tablet, valued at $400, according to a police report.

Ashley Oxendine, of Meadow Road, Lumberton, reported Wednesday that someone broke into her home and stole 10 pairs of shoes, valued at $1,100; a television, valued at $600; an Xbox gaming console, valued at $300; and $1,000 in video games, according to a police report.

Jeff Morgan reported Wednesday that a white 1987 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, valued at $9,000, was stolen from Jeff’s Tires and Brakes on West Fifth Street in Lumberton, according to a police report.

Vandalism

Fred Howell, of Chippewa Street, Lumberton, reported Wednesday that $200 in damage was done to a window on his house during an attempted break-in, according to a police report.
