Mobile Medical

sets schedule

LUMBERTON — Southeastern Mobile Medical, a service of Southeastern Regional Medical Center, will be stationed at the following locations within Robeson County at the dates listed. The mobile unit operates from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at each site.

Monday and Tuesday — Floyd’s Temple Number One, Lumberton; Wednesday and Thursday — Beauty Spot United Methodist Church, Rowland; and Jan. 30 and Jan. 31 — LRDA, Pembroke.

While cash is not accepted due to security reasons, patients may present insurance information (private insurance, Medicare or Medicaid), money orders or personal checks. Appointments are not required but may be scheduled by calling (910) 674-6144.

to host seminar

LUMBERTON — Dr. Barry Williamson, of Lumberton Surgical Associates, will host a seminar on LAP-BANDTM on Monday from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Southeastern Weight Loss Center located at 403 W. 27th St. Registration is required by calling 608-0307.

Drawings to aid Relay for Life

LUMBERTON — The Tobacco Road Rivals Relay for Life team will hold a drawing at 3 p.m. on Feb. 3 in the lobby of the Southeastern Regional Medical Center bed tower with a first place prize of two tickets to the UNC-Chapel Hill vs. Duke University basketball game on Feb. 8 in Chapel Hill and $200 cash.

Second prize is a basketball autographed by Roy Williams; third prize is a 2009 Championship bracket and Carolina Sports Illustrated; fourth prize is a poster autographed by Nolan Smith and Kyle Singler; and the fifth prize in a 2010 Championship bracket and Duke Sports Illustrated.
