Johnson writes book

LUMBERTON — Charles Johnson, a Lumberton native, will release his first book, “I Am Sam 10 keys to Success from ‘Green Eggs and Ham,” at 7 p.m. on Thursday at 1408 Martin Luther King Drive in Lumberton.

“I’m excited to offer these 10 keys to success, they are simple easy to apply and will reveal to the reader they have something the world needs,” Johnson said.

Johnson said “I Am Sam 10 Keys to success from ‘Green Eggs and Ham’” takes readers on a journey of his personal discovery using the well-known children’s story by Theodore “Dr. Seuss” Geisel and gives tips for success to leaders.

Johnson is the son of Wyatt Johnson, a former Lumberton city councilman. The book is self-published.
