ELIZABETHTOWN — Southeastern Health’s Bladen County clinics will sponsor their second annual health fair on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Cape Fear Farmers Market in Elizabethtown.
The event will highlight services of Southeastern Health Center Clarkton, Southeastern Medical Clinic Bladenboro and Southeastern Medical Clinic White Lake, as well as services offered by Southeastern Health’s specialty clinics. Free health screens, including for cholesterol, blood pressure, blood sugar, height, weight and body mass index, will be offered for people 18 and older.
Flu shots will be available with payment filed on insurance, by co-pay or self-pay. For information, call 910-647-1503.
LUMBERTON — Gibson Cancer Center, an affiliate of Southeastern Health, is hosting a Pink Tea in recognition of October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The event will be held at the center, which is located at 1200 Pine Run Drive in Lumberton, on Tuesday from 9 to 11:30 a.m.

LUMBERTON — Southeastern Women’s Healthcare will host an open house and ribbon cutting at its new location at 4300 Fayetteville Road on Thursday from 4 to 6 p.m.
The open house will include tours and light refreshments. Southeastern Health President/CEO Joann Anderson will speak during the event, which will be held in conjunction with the Lumberton Area Chamber of Commerce.

LUMBERTON — Individuals who are blind or visually impaired and their family members are invited to join BVI Support Group Inc., which meets on the second Thursday of each month at 10 a.m. in Community Classroom I at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Lumberton.
