Leach — McCallum

Ricky Lee Smith and the late Joyce Leach of Clarkton announce the engagement of their daughter Kimberlee S. Leach to Chris T. McCallum.

Leach is a graduate of East Bladen High School and The University of North Carolina at Pembroke, where she received a bachelor’s degree in health promotion. She works at Sandhills Behavioral Center.

McCallum is the son of William T. McCallum Sr. and Phyllis Washington of Lumberton. He is a graduate of Lumberton Senior High School. He works at Graphic Packaging Inc. in Lumberton.

The wedding will be held at 3 p.m. on Nov. 16 at the Southeastern Farmers Market in Lumberton. A reception will follow the ceremony. The wedding will be invitation only.

Lucus — Cummings

Arnold G. Lucas of Wilson and Mr. and Mrs. Earl C. Locklear of Pembroke announce the engagement of their daughter Dawn Marie Lucas to Jeffrey Cummings of Maxton.

Lucas is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. George W. Lowry and the late Sara J. Lucas Hunt. She graduated from Purnell Swett High School in 1995 and Richmond Community College in 2002. She works for Southeastern Hospice, Home Health, and Hospice House. She also works for MedproRX in Raleigh as an IV therapist.

Cummings is the son of late Frank Cummings and Dorothy Cummings of Maxton and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Newton Cummings and the late Mr. and Mrs. Fred Scott. He graduated from Prospect High School in 1977 and works for the North Carolina Department of Correction and is self employed as a cattle farmer.

The wedding will be held at 5 p.m. on Jan. 29 in Sevierville, Tenn.
