Brown — Staton
Rebecca Louise Brown and Travis Raynard Staton were united in marriage at 2 p.m. on July 27 at New Horizon COGIC in Maxton by Pastor Mark Goslee.
The bride is the daughter of Elder John and Deborah Brown of Raeford. She attended Red Springs High School; she earned a bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a master’s degree in management and leadership at Liberty University. She works for the Department of Social Services.
The groom is the son of the late SGTM Raymond and Linda Staton. He attended Westover High School and works for a moving company.
The matron of honor was Tanika Murray and the maid of honor was Krin Pearson. The bridesmaids were Amanda Cisco, Sequoia McBryde, Destiny Brown, Davita Cannon and Tierryicah Mitchell. The flower girls were Amiyah Staton Pearsall and Faithlen Lester.
The best man was Jarrod Dunham and the groomsmen were Jonathon Brown Sr., Peter Robinson, Alex Ashton and Tykeim Bell. The ringbearer was Jonathon Brown Jr.
Music was provided by Helen Lester, Garcia Morman, Lariah Murray, Tyrone Bethune, Todd Murray Jr., Kiara Jackson, Antoine’ Campbell.
The ushers were Jameson Campbell, Leon Barnes, Jerry McDowell and Jaylen Brown.
A reception was held at the Porter Plaza in Pembroke. Music was provided by DJ Spiderman.
The couple enjoyed a honeymoon to Williamsburg, Va.
They will reside in Fayetteville.
