I have been the editor of The Robesonian since 1994, and have lived in Robeson County for almost 40 years of my life. I began my journalism career working in sports at The Robesonian in 1983, and have a total of 23 years of experience at this newspaper. I am the person to call with suggestions for news stories, questions about how to submit information, letters to the editor, complaints, etc.

I have been a journalist for 25 years, having been a reporter and news editor for weekly and daily newspapers in both New Jersey and North Carolina. Originally from Glassboro, N.J., I hold a political science degree from Albright College, Reading, Pa., and a communications degree from Rowan University, Glassboro, N.J.I've been a staff writer at The Robesonian since December 2007. Currently, I cover county and state government; the Lumbee Tribe; social services; and the communities of Maxton and Rowland.

You will find me on the front line in the Circulation & Classified department, conferring with customers by telephone or in person to provide information about products and services, running reports, taking or entering orders, create/cancel accounts, or to obtain details of complaints.

My job title is Customer Service, a multi-tasking position that assist customers through phone calls and walk-ins. Some of the job functions are: receiving payments, help resolve customers complaints by observing, receiving, and obtaining information from all sources, do vacation start/stops, starting new subscriptions, generate bundle tops, postal reports, and also take Ads in Classifies.
