WILKESBORO — Performances of “Moonshine & Thunder — The Junior Johnson Story” continue Thursday at the Forest’s Edge Amphitheatre in Wilkesboro.

The multi-media event, presented by Bleu Moon Productions, opened last week and will continue for two more consecutive weekends at the amphitheatre off U.S. 421 North in Historic Fort Hamby Park, located at 1534 South Recreation Road in Wilkesboro. “Moonshine & Thunder — The Junior Johnson Story” is produced through a partnership with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Friends of the Lake. Performances begin at 7:30 p.m. each day. Show dates are Thursday, Friday and Saturday and Sept. 28, 29 and 30.

Robeson County residents who show a driver’s license will receive $5 off the regular ticket price. at the Sept. 30 show. Otherwise, all tickets are $15 with group rates available for 10 or more people. Ticket sells begin at 6:30 p.m. the night of each performance. Seats are not assigned, but staff will reserve seats by phone for groups of 10 or more upon request.
