PEMBROKE — Runners, walkers and gobblers of all ages are invited to join the Robeson County Road Runners for a Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day.

The annual event will begin at 8:30 a.m. with a fun run through downtown Lumberton along the Rumba on the Lumber route. The event is free.

The Road Runners also will host a Thanksgiving potluck dinner on Nov. 19 at Jef Lambdin’s house, located at 1208 N. Elm St. in Lumberton. All are invited.
