Faison Charlton Powers, of St. Pauls, and Kevin Blake Campbell, of Hubert, exchanged vows on the afternoon of Dec. 2, 2017.

The ceremony and reception took place at the home of the groom’s parents in Hubert and was officiated by the Rev. James Kotey. Faison was given in marriage by her parents.

The bride is the daughter of Ruffin B. Powers II and Linda Dixon Powers, of St. Pauls, and the paternal granddaughter of the late James and Faison Powers, also of St. Pauls. She graduated from Swansboro High School and East Carolina University. She now works at St. Pauls Elementary School as a second-grade teacher.

The groom is the son of Jason E. and Rachel B. Campbell, of Hubert. He graduated from Swansboro High School and attended the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. He is employed with the U.S. Marine Corps.

Abby Wilkinson served as the matron of honor, and the bridesmaids were Megan Edwards and Nicole Saccone.

Bryn Campbell served as the best man, and the groomsmen were David Weaver and Anthony Pitts.

The couple honeymooned in the North Carolina mountains.
