PEMBROKE — A string quartet will grace the Givens Performing Art Center Stage on Jan. 26.

Well-Strung, based in New York City, derives its unique blend of vocals and strings by fusing classical music with the pop music of today.

The members, Edmund Bagnell, first violin; Chris Marchant, second violin; Daniel Shevlin, cello; and Trevor Wadleigh, viola; spend their time making new music and touring internationally.

Tickets are $16 for adults and $5 for children or students. To buy tickets, call the box office 910-521-6361. It’s open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. GPAC is located on The University of North Carolina at Pembroke campus at the main entrance.
