Lindsay Ann Gold, of Greenville, and Jeffrey Michael Oatis, also of Greenville, were united in marriage at 5 p.m. June 4 at The Yacht Club at Marina Shores in Virginia Beach, Va., by the Rev. James Ullian.

The bride is the daughter of Joey and Darlene Gold, of Lumberton. She is the granddaughter of Frances Gold and the late Jim Gold, and Nancy Valliere and the late Richard Valliere.

She attended East Carolina University, where she received a bachelor of science degree in Health Services Management and a master’s in Public Administration. She works as an applications developer in Greenville. The bridegroom is the son of Mike and Julie Oatis, of Virginia Beach, Va. He is the grandson of Edla Shelton of Atlanta and the late Robert Shelton, and the late James Oatis and the late Persis Oatis.

He attended East Carolina University, where he received a bachelor of science degree in Recreation and Park Management. He is employed as a property manager in Greenville.

The maid of honor was Catherine Gold. Bridesmaids were Melanie Bonney, Katie Calvert, Allyson Garner and Stephanie Haughey.

The best man was Mike Oatis. Groomsmen were Watson Brown, Eric Garner, Matt Liverman and Joey Valesko.

Showers were held at the home of Michelle Cox, of Lumberton, and the home of Catherine Gold, of Winston-Salem.
