LUMBERTON — The annual tree-lighting ceremony for the Southeastern Hospice Tree of Honor has been scheduled for 6 p.m. Nov. 30 at 6 p.m.

The staff of Southeastern Hospice is placing a light on the tree in collective honor of patients, family members, staff, and volunteers. Their names also will be listed in the Tree of Honor Book.

The Tree of Honor sits atop Southeastern Regional Medical Center, where it is visible throughout Lumberton. A brief ceremony will take place in a marked portion of the hospital parking lot nearest the 29th and North Barker streets. During the ceremony, all the lights representing honored individuals will be turned on.
