LUMBERTON — A six-part Living Healthy program is designed to help people better manage their chronic health conditions.

The program is scheduled for March 5, 12, 19 and 26, and April 2 and 9. Each workshop is to take place at 30 CJ Walker Road in Pembroke.

The program’s sponsors are the Lumber River Council of Governments’ Area Agency on Aging and the Mid-Carolina Area Agency on Aging.

People age 60 and older get in free. There is a $20 registration fee for people under the age of 60.

Attendees of the six workshops will be given information on managing symptoms, communicating more effectively with doctors and other health care professionals, how to lessen frustration, fighting fatigue, building individual confidence, making daily tasks easier, and more.
