Golf Tournament: Robeson Community College Foundation and the Bullard Restaurant Group will host its 32nd annual Clifford Bullard Memorial Golf Tournament at Carolina Plantation Golf Club in Lumberton. ServSafe Food Safety Certification Training: The North Carolina Cooperative Extension’s Robeson County Center will provide ServSafe Food Safety Certification from 8:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the O.P. Owens Agriculture Center located at 455 Caton Road in Lumberton. Small farm outreach meeting: The North Carolina Cooperative Extension Robeson and Bladen Centers will host the meeting at the Powell-Melvin Agricultural Service Center, located at 450 Smith Circle Drive in Elizabethtown, from 1:30 to 5 p.m. The meeting will inform farmers and landowners of programs that can provide financial assistance to their farms. Best of Broadway: Summer Stage, the performing workshop of Purple Door Productions, in association with Robeson Community College, will present “The Best of Broadway,” a showcase of Broadway tunes from The Wiz, Beauty and the Beast, Bonnie and Clyde, Hamilton, The Color Purple and Newsies. The show will run today at 2:30 p.m. in the A.D. Lewis Theatre on the campus of Robeson Community College in Lumberton. Tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for students and RCC faculty. Opening day: The Public Schools of Robeson County will host its annual Opening Day, or the first day back to school for more than 2,000 educators, at the Southeastern N.C. Agricultural Events Center in Lumberton. The event was previously scheduled to be held at Lumberton Senior High School but was recently moved. The event will be held from 10:30 a.m. to noon.

For the Blind: Sunshine Seekers is a support group that meets at 10 a.m. on Thursdays at the Pine Street Senior Center. Participants must be legally blind.
