LUMBERTON — Two shootings in Robeson County have left two people hospitalized, including one who is critically injured, and one man facing charges.

Travis Antonio Johnson, 38, whose last known address was Red Springs, was shot about 10:30 Monday evening during a domestic disturbance at 802 E. 11th St. in Lumberton, according to information from Lumberton police Capt. Terry Parker. Johnson was taken to Southeastern Regional Medical Center and then to another hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

The shooting remains under investigation by the Lumberton Police Department and by Erich Hackney, investigator for the Robeson County District Attorney’s office. Anyone with information concerning the shooting is asked to contact Lumberton police Detective J. White at 910-671-3845.

A shooting Saturday in Rowland left one man in jail and another in a hospital, according to Rowland police Capt. LaSevenn Richardson.

Justin Lee Locklear, 26, of Rowland, is charged with assault with deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, going armed to the terror of the public, and discharging a weapon in city limits in connection to the shooting. Locklear is in the Robeson County Detention Center under a $50,000 bond.

The shooting took place outside of a Chinese restaurant on East Main Street in Rowland, according to Richardson. Locklear got into an altercation with another male outside the restaurant. Locklear shot the man and left the scene. The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of an injury that was not life-threatening.

The name of the victim was not provided.
