Crime report


Devaron Priest, of Cheryl Drive in Lumberton, reported Monday that someone broke into his residence and stole a PlayStation video game system, valued at $300, and four video games with a combined estimated value of $120.

Alton Bell, of East Fifth Street in Lumberton, reported Sunday that a woman stole and tried to sell two lawnmowers that belonged to him. The mowers had a combined estimated value of $200.

John Williams, of Meadow Road in Lumberton, reported Sunday that someone broke into his truck while it was parked at a business on West Fifth Street in Lumberton and stole a mini-refrigerator, valued at $150, and $100 in coins.

Elsie Pait, of Warrick Mill Road in Lumberton, reported Saturday that someone stole her pocketbook, which she had left unattended in a shopping cart in the parking lot at Dollar General on South Roberts Avenue in Lumberton. The pocketbook, valued at $30, contained a driver’s license, a debit card and $700 in cash.

Jerry Nobles, of East Second Street in Lumberton, reported Friday that someone stole items from off the front porch of his residence. Reported stolen were two electric hedge trimmers, with a combined estimated value of $200; three hammers, with a combined estimated value of $18; two cast iron skillets, with a combined estimated value of $100; one quilt, valued at $30; and two plastic tote bags, with a combined estimated value of $28.

Leverne Lindsey, of Chestnut Street in Lumberton, reported Friday that someone stole a utility trailer, valued at $600.

Olivia Jackson reported Friday to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office that she was the victim of identity fraud.

James Hunt reported Saturday to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office the theft of a firearm on N.C. 904 in Fairmont.

Neil Locklear reported Saturday to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office that he was the victim of assault inflicting serious injury on Casey Road in Pembroke.

The following incidents of breaking and entering a motor vehicle were reported to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office:

Green State, on West Carthage Road in Lumberton; Christy Jacobs, on Barnes Road in Orrum; and Kendall Willoughby, on East Ed and Regan Church roads in Lumberton.

The following incidents of breaking and entering were reported to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office:

Timothy Locklear, Butterfly Road in Rowland; Kathy Sinclair, Baxley Road in St. Pauls; Earl Locklear, West Carthage Road in Lumberton; Smithfield Farms, Watts Dairy Road in St. Pauls; Vivian Oxendine, Canal Road in Pembroke; Chavila Bullard, Jacobs Road in Maxton; and Thaddius Nance, Douglas Street in Lumberton.

The following incidents of motor vehicle theft were reported to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office;

William Strickland, on Lumbee Avenue in Lumberton, and Lucille Bethea, on Covington Farm Road in St. Pauls.
