LUMBERTON — Franny’s Friends has scheduled a pet adoption event for Saturday.

It will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Petsense, at 4327 Fayetteville Road in Lumberton. Puppies, adult dogs, cats and kittens will be available for adoption. During the event, families can have Christmas portraits made with their pets for $20.

The donation of money, kennels, blankets, towels, straw and used and new dog houses will be accepted during the adoption event.
