Red Springs man faces drug charges

LUMBERTON — A Red Springs man is facing multiple drug charges after being arrested during a traffic stop, according to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office.

Bryne Keith McNair, of 205 Mount Tabor Road, was arrested Tuesday afternoon after his vehicle was stopped on Hendrix Drive in Red Springs for a motor vehicle equipment violation, according to information from the Sheriff’s Office’s Violent Crimes Task Force Division. Narcotics and drug paraphernalia were seized during the traffic stop.

McNair was charged with felony possession of cocaine, possession of marijuana up to .5 ounces, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, possession of drug paraphernalia, and resisting, delaying or obstructing an officer. He was taken to the Robeson County jail and placed under a $5,000 secured bond.
