LUMBERTON — The Lumberton Police Department is seeking information about a string of store break-ins.
The three break-ins have occurred since Sept. 19. In all three incidents an unknown man broke the store’s glass doors and stole an undisclosed amount of cigarettes, according to the Police Department.
“We believe all three break-ins are related but have not ruled out the possibility they are different suspects,” Capt. Terry Parker said in a statement.
The first break-in was reported Sept. 19 at about 3:13 a.m. at Save More on Fayetteville Road. The next break-in was reported at about 4:58 a.m. on Sept. 22 at Sundo Kwik Stop on Carthage Road. The third incident took pace at Speedway on West Fifth Street at about 3:39 a.m. on Wednesday.
The Police Department is circulating surveillance images from all three break-ins, which can be viewed at www.robesonian.com. Police are asking anyone with information about the break-ins about a person selling cartons of cigarettes or anyone who recognizes the pictured suspects or their vehicle to call Detective Jennifer White or Detective David Williford at 910-671-3845.
