Fairmont moves meeting to Heritage Center

FAIRMONT — The Fairmont Board of Commissioners has moved tonight’s meeting to accommodate a class of students that is expected to attend.

Katrina Tatum, town manager, said the meeting will take place at the Heritage Center, which is at 207 S. Main St., and will begin at 6 p.m.

About 30 students will attend to see how the local government functions. The commissioners normally meet at Town Hall.
