Crime report


Dana Hunt reported Thursday that someone cashed fraudulent checks at State Employees’ Credit Union on Fayetteville Road in Lumberton. The amount of the checks was not listed on the incident report.

Kenneth Carter, of Shiloh Road in Lumberton, reported Thursday that someone stole his maintenance van, valued at $2,500, containing various tools, valued at $2,000, while it was parked outside an apartment complex office on Roberts Avenue.

The following break-ins were reported to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office:

Virginia Hays, Pine Log Road in Lumberton; Allen Bullard, Alford Farms Road in Maxton; Dannie Brooks, Alford Farms Road in Maxton; David Locklear, Moss Neck Road in Pembroke; Salvador Ramirez, Norton Road in Lumberton; Richard Clark, Oxendine School Road in Maxton; and Shanee Brown, Deep Branch Road in Pembroke.

The following incidents of armed robbery were reported to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office:

Jimmy McCormack, on Lakewood Drive in Maxton; and Harvey Locklear, on Oakgrove Church Road in Lumberton.
