The Robesonian rededicated


Mayor Bruce Davis, far right, helps Denise Ward, publisher of The Robesonian, with scissors, cut the ribbon on the dedication of the newspaper’s refurbished facilities after it was damaged by Hurricane Matthew. An open house followed. Among those also in the photograph were county Commissioners Jerry Stephens and Tom Taylor, County Manager Ricky Harris, Al Locklear, chairman of the Lumberton Area Chamber of Commerce, Donnie Douglas, editor of the newspaper, Brittany Woodell, head of advertising, RCC President Kimberly Gold, Sheriff Ken Sealey and Scott Champion, CEO of Champion Media, which owns the newspaper.
