LUMBERTON — Tonnie Prevatte, owner of Prevatte’s Home Sales in Lumberton, recently received the Rollan Jones Member of Year award by the membership of the North Carolina Manufactured and Modular Homebuilders Association.
Prevatte was presented the award at the association’s annual meeting, which was held at the Grandover Resort in Greensboro.
The Rollan Jones Member of the Year award was created to recognize an individual who demonstrates outstanding service to association during the previous year. Nominees are evaluated on their ability to promote the association to members and non-members, and their overall service and leadership on behalf of the industry.
“This distinguished award is a tribute to Tonnie for his continuous service to the membership of NCMHA and unwavering support of to the association as a whole,” association president Cliff DeSpain said in a statement.
Tony Prevatte has been in the manufactured and modular housing industry for more than 40 years and has run Prevatte’s Homes Sales in Lumberton for the past 25 years.
