During The University of North Carolina at Pembroke’s third annual Pi Day, hosted by the School of Education, middle school students from John Griffin Middle School in Fayetteville, and Magnolia and Prospect middle schools in Robeson County learned about Pi, a Greek letter used for one of the most studied numbers in mathematics. Some teachers were good sports and allowed themselves to get “pi-ed.” Pi Day is celebrated on March 14.
