To the Editor,

The article in a recent The Robesonian concerning the closing of Accent Fabrics did not mention the name of the judge who handed down the outrageous sentence to the woman who put Charles Hall and the company out of business and caused all those workers to lose their jobs.

Charles Hall grew up in Lumberton and I would imagine that he trusted his hometown to at least give him some degree of justice. The fact that he received none from the court system has to be a double-blow.

Gertie Murray

Resident Superior Court Judge Frank Floyd handed out the sentence. That information was included in the article that appeared on robesonian.com, but not in the print edition of The Robesonian — editor.
