God got another angel with passing of Sampson

1 months 22 days 16 hours ago |17 Views | | | Email | Print

To the Editor,

Our coach and friend John “Ned” Sampson was many things to many people. He was a Christian, a coach, a counselor, a father to the members of his teams and he would sit down and listen to you if you would just ask. The effectiveness of his love for both his children and his students was far reaching and through them his legacy of asking everyone to “just try a little kindness will go on.”

His beloved wife Eva took care of him until God called her home last month. Ned was not only her husband, they were each other’s best friend. And their four children were taught to lean on God and each other.

Our state, our county and nation lost a noble and honorable man. But we have to remember God always has the final say and he just wanted him another angel.
