Chelsea Leigh Collins and Tyler Wellington Thomas, both of Lumberton, were united in marriage on Dec. 14, 2013. The wedding was held at Island Grove Baptist Church in Pembroke with Pastor Chris Hunt officiating.
Music was provided by Pamela Sweeny, Rebekah Lowry, Brent Tyler, Aaron Thomas and Alicia Thomas.
The bride is the daughter of Eric and Sherry Collins, both of Pembroke. She attended The University of North Carolina at Pembroke, and Lebanon Valley College. She works as a physical therapist at Carolina Compete Rehabilitation.
The groom is the son of Cathy Thomas of Pembroke, and of Clinton Thomas Jr. of Greensboro. He attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and works as branch manager of the license plate agency in Lumberton.
The maid of honor was Erica Jean Collins of Pembroke, while the matrons of honor were Andrea Brooks of Laurinburg and Kara Lynn Bloom of Lawrence, Kan.
Bridesmaids were Victoria Blue; Alicia Thomas; Beth Oxendine; Danika Strickland and Jeanetta Dunn, all of Pembroke, and Linsey Pittman of Charlotte.
The best man was Clinton Thomas Jr. Groomsmen were Todd Thomas; Garrett Thomas; Aaron Thomas; and Tanner Collins, all of Pembroke, and Michael Norman of Atlanta, Ricky Jackson and Ronald Batres of Charlotte, and Barron Monroe of Hickory.
Bridal showers was given at Island Grove Baptist Church by Genemma Lowery and Vonessa Oxendine, and at the home of James and Janice Sheffield by the groom’s family.
Delora Cummings directed the wedding and the flowers were by Monkia’s Beyond the Garden.
