LUMBERTON — The Rediscover Downtown Lumberton group will hold its 20th annual Labor Day yard sale in the plaza in downtown Lumberton on Monday.
Dick Taylor, a member of the organization, expects more than 75 vendors to participate in the sale, which kicks off at 7 a.m.
Each vendor pays $20 for a space to peddle wares. Last year, the event raised more than $1,500 for downtown Lumberton, money that, according to Taylor, went toward “the benefit of marketing and improving downtown.”
“You never know what you’re going to find during the sale,” he said. “And most of the stuff is for a very good price.”
