WILMINGTON — Wilmington police have arrested four Robeson County residents that they say stole $4,500 in merchandise from stores ranging from Gamestop to Victoria’s Secret.


At about 6:30 p.m. Monday, an employee at U.S. Cellular on South College Road reported about $3,000 worth of display phones were taken from the store. The employee who reported the theft described the suspects’ vehicle.


When police say they located the car on Wooster Street, they found another $1,500 worth of stolen merchandise from Spencer’s, Victoria’s Secret, Bath and Body Works, Gamestop, Dick’s Sporting Goods, and other retailers.


According to WECT 6 in Wilmington, the four were identified as residents of Robeson County.


Jessica Ellerby, 26, is charged with felony larceny and felony possession of stolen property. Ellerby, wanted for armed robbery in another jurisdiction, is in the New Hanover County Jail under a $100,000 secured bond.


Ellerby’s offender record from the North Carolina Department of Public Safety shows she was convicted of shoplifting and two counts of simple assault in 2006; possession of a schedule VI controlled substance and larceny in 2009; larceny in 2010; and speeding to elude arrest and driving with a revoked license in 2011.


Quameka Davis, 22, was charged with felony larceny and felony possession of stolen property. Davis was in the New Hanover County Jail under a $5,000 secured bond.


Tyrone Davis, 35, is charged with conspiracy to commit felony larceny, hindering and delaying, and felony possession of stolen property. Davis is in the New Hanover County Jail under a $5,000 secured bond.


Tyrone Davis was convicted of possession of a schedule II substance in 1999; robbery with a dangerous weapon in 2010; and larceny of more than $1,000 in 2012, according to the North Carolina Department Public Safety.


It is currently unknown if Tyrone and Quameka Davis are related.


Craig French, 34, is charged with conspiracy to commit felony larceny, hindering and delaying, and felony possession of stolen property. French is in the New Hanover County Jail under a $5,000 secured bond.


French was convicted of shoplifting in 1997; possession of stolen goods and larceny in 2005; three counts of larceny in 2009; and organized retail theft in 2013, according to the North Carolina Department Public Safety.


The Robesonian’s calls to the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office were not returned Wednesday morning.
