LUMBERTON — There will be an unveiling ceremony of a portrait of Julian Peirce at 6 p.m. on Monday in the Robeson Community College library. Light refreshments will be served.
After the unveiling, the Robeson Community College board of trustees will hold its monthly meeting in the board room on the main campus at 7 p.m.
ST. PAULS — The St. Pauls High School Band/Bandfans’ annual Fruit Sale ends today, but orders can be placed online until Thursday.

FAIRMONT — Robeson Community College will hold a community forum at the Heritage Center in Fairmont at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Light refreshments will be served.
LUMBERTON — Robeson Community College’s chapter of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society will hold an induction ceremony for new members in the A.D. Lewis Auditorium at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The public is invited to attend.
LUMBERTON — Wanda Owens, a fourth-grade teacher, and Gwanda Powell, a teacher’s assistant, were recently named Piney Grove’s Teacher and Teacher’s Assistant of the Year.
The two were honored at a reception and given a plaque.
LUMBERTON — The Reading Association of the Public Schools of Robeson County will hold a reading event from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday at the Osterneck Auditorium.
An author will be presenting and signing his book.
