To the Editor,
I read with interest the column in the Sunday April 13 edition of The Robesonian by James Johnson. It was the same old rhetoric that is always used by someone who tries to make the Bible say what they want it to.
He was quick to use Leviticus 20:13 as the only place the Bible speaks against homosexuality. He is right that it was the law written to the Israelites. There are also passages in the New Testament about the subject. One is the Romans 1:26-28? Also, Corinthians 6:9-10 says the effeminate shall not inherit the kingdom of God. II Timothy tells us in 4:3-5 about turning the truth into fables.
A real Ahristian wants the truth, not a fable.
