Moriah Baptist Church, located U.S. 301 North. in Lumberton, will present 17th annual Moriah’s Singing on Saturday, beginning at 6 p.m. The singing will include The Unity Quartet, Three Days Journey, The Singing Revelations, Heart Song and the host group, The Moriahs. Mount Pleasant Methodist Church, in the Cotton Valley Community of Rowland, will hold a Baby Contest at 3 p.m. on Sunday. The speaker will be the Rev. First Orrum Missionary Baptist Church, has scheduled a seventh anniversary celebration for Pastor Charles R. Parker for Sunday. The Rev. Anthony Powell of Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church of Whiteville will be the guest speaker. The Gospel 4 of Parkton will be in concert. Sunday School starts at 9:30 a.m., and the morning service starts at 10:30 a.m.

St. James AME Zion Church, located at 116 W. Brown Ave., in Red Springs, will hold its 149th anniversary and its homecoming service on Aug. 13 at 10 a.m. Dinner will be served immediately after the morning worship.

Morning Star Community Baptist Church, located at 702 Dunn Road in Lumberton, will hold its fall camp meeting revival Aug. 13-16 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. The Rev. Timmy Hunt, of Northside Independent Church, will be the guest speaker during the Aug. 13 and Aug. 14 services. Apostle Anthony A. Buie, of St. Joseph Revival Center, will be guest speaker during the Aug. 15 and Aug. 16 services.

Anointed Believers Ministries, located at 900 Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, is back in its church after the flood from Hurricane Matthew. Services begin with Sunday School at 10 a.m. and worship service at 11:30 a.m. Bible study is held on Wednesdays at 7 p.m.

Crown of Life Outreach Ministries, 127A. E. Broad St. in St. Pauls, meets each Sunday for prayer at 10 a.m., Sunday School at 10:30 a.m. and morning worship at 11 a.m. Every Saturday there is prayer at noon. Bethany Christian Fellowship holds its Sunday school at 10 a.m. and Sunday morning worship service at 11 a.m. Bible study is held on Wednesday at 7 p.m. The church is located at 307 S. Jones St. in Pembroke.

Freedom Christian Fellowship holds its celebration service Sundays at 10 a.m.; prayer Mondays at 7 p.m.; free instrument training and playing Tuesdays at 7 p.m.; youth and children christian training Wednesdays at 7 p.m.; adult discipleship Thursdays at 7 p.m.; and on the first Friday of every month is a men’s and women’s meeting at 7 p.m.
