McCormick Chapel AME Church, located at 315 Main St., Lumberton, will have a worship in song Saturday at 6 p.m. with the Gospel Four of Parkton. Other guests are The New Pilgrims of Joy, Rev. Peppers and the Soul Revivers, both of Fayetteville. All are welcome.

New Point Baptist Church, located on NC 41, will hold revival services Sunday through Wednesday beginning with a 6:30 p.m. service on Sunday. Monday through Wednesday services will begin at 7:30 p.m. Guest speakers will be the Rev. Brent Chavis and the Rev. Danny Oxendine. The church is located across the street from Village Inn Seafood. Baltimore Baptist Church, located at 171 Baltimore Church Road, will dedicate its new worship center on Sunday at 10 a.m. Guest speakers will be Mike Moore, former director of missions for Robeson County Baptist Association, and Randall Jones, pastor emeritus, Langston Baptist Church in Conway, S.C. An open house will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and light refreshments will be served. Revival services with Jones will be held May 8, 9 and 10 at 7 p.m. each day. All are welcome.

St. Paul AME Church, located at 3169 Oakdale Church Road, in Fairmont, will sponsor a cookout at 12:30 p.m. and present the “7up Program” at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Rev. Erica Price-Pollock is the pastor.

New Life Church, located at 3990 Fayetteville Road in Lumberton, will have a revival with guest speaker Michael Ball from Sunday through Wednesday. The Sunday evening service will begin at 6:30. All other services will be held at 7 p.m.

Mt. Pleasant AME Church will hold a pastor appreciation program to honor the Rev. Gwen McNeill at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday at the church, located at 921 Echo Road in the Cotton Valley community of Rowland. The speaker will be the Rev. Ebenezer Missionary Baptist Church will host its second annual Mother’s Day brunch on May 13 in the Family and Life Center located at 2340 Marietta Road in Marietta. This year’s theme is Hat’s Off to Mothers. Tickets for the event are $5 for adults and $3 for children and under. There will also be a hat parade. Elizabethtown Road in Lumberton, will celebrate Mother’s Day on May 14 at 11 a.m. The guest speaker will be Tiffany Peguise-Powers, a local attorney. Powers is a member of St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, where she serves as an Eucharistic minister, lectern and Sunday School teacher.

Mount Pleasant AME Church, located in Cotton Valley Community of Rowland, will hold a Women’s Day service on May 14 at 11 a.m. with lunch at 1 p.m. and a special service at 3 p.m. The speaker at both services will be Sherry Beloved Jones Billard.

New Life Church, located at 3990 Fayetteville Road in Lumberton, will have a yard sale on June 3 beginning at 7 a.m. There will be furniture and yard items for sale; and a bake sale.
