Benton, Fanning win Kiwanis title

LUMBERTON — For the first time since 2007, Dyrck Fanning and Scott Benton won the championship flight at the Kiwanis All-American Golf Tournament on Sunday.
The two shot a 10-under-par 62 on Sunday to finish with a final score of 17-under-par 127.
The team of John Haskins and Larry Cloninger finished second with a two-day total of 14-under 130 and day one leaders Jamie Locklear and Neal Locklear finished at 13-under 131 to take third. Defending champions Mark Lassiter and Keith McGirt finished fourth with a 133.
