Description:

Seeds of HOPE is a research project designed to connect women with resources within themselves as well as resources within the community needed to set and achieve life goals. Local women are being invited to join HOPE Circles throughout Robeson, Duplin, Sampson, and Lenoir counties. A HOPE Circle is a small group of 10-15 women who meet together twice a month for 6 months to provide each other with the support to set and achieve goals toward better health.

Participants will receive a journal addressing issues such as weight management, healthy eating, physical activity, and financial literacy. Women participating in Seeds of HOPE will have an opportunity to find support with other women to address health concerns as well as their life or education goals.
