Charles Lee Matthis, 72, of 702 Walking Stick Trail, died Nov. 27, 2012, at Rex Hospital in Raleigh.
The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Grove Park Baptist Church in Clinton, the Revs. Dudley Neal, Dr. Glenn Jonas officiating. Interment will follow in Clinton Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Anita Waters Matthis of the home; his children, Sheri M. Peterson, Phillip Matthis and Timothy Matthis, all of Clinton, and Holli Matthis Bell of Beulaville; a brother, Doug Matthis of Clinton; and three grandchildren.
The visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today at Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home in Clinton and other times at the home.
