The David Pait Evangelistic Association is planning a crusade to be held in the Lumberton High School auditorium March 10-12.
The crusade will begin each evening at 7. There will be special guests and performances nightly by a mass choir made up of members from area churches.
The ministry’s mission is to be an evangelistic outreach to people who do not know Christ Jesus as their personal Savior.

Special services

Redeemed Assembly International Church will host the live performance of “Rapture” on Sunday morning at 10:45. The presentation asks, “Jesus is coming back, will you be ready?”

Words of Life Worship Center will host Yahweh’s School of the Prophets each Tuesday evening at 7:30. Apostle Moses Townsend of Fayetteville will lead these meetings.
There is no admission charge.

Youth
^
The S.T.O.R.M. Youth group meets at Covenant Worship Center on Linkhaw Road in Lumberton each Wednesday night at 7. If you are 13 to 20 years old, you are invited to join the group.

A Youth Mission Trip fundraiser will be Feb. 27 at Barnesville Baptist Church . A spaghetti dinner will be served at 12:15 p.m.
Everyone is invited. Plates will be available for take-out or eat-in. Donations only are accepted.

Children’s ministry

Faith Farm, for children 4 to 12 years old, is held each Sunday morning at 10:30 at Covenant Worship Center on Linkhaw Road.

Revivals
^
Revival services will be Feb. 27-28 and March 1-4 at Fair Point Baptist Church . The Revs. James Mitchell Cummings and Ricky Burnette will be the speakers. The Sunday evening service will start at 7 p.m., and services Monday through Friday will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Mt. Elim Baptist Church , 645 N. Creek Road, Orrum, will have revival services Sunday at 6 p.m. and Monday through Wednesday at 7 p.m.

Dr. M. Randall Jones will be the guest evangelist in a revival at Sand Hill Baptist Church . The services will be March 13 at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m., and March 14-16 at 7 p.m.

A pastor appreciation service will be March 6 at House of Mercy Holiness Church , Rowland. The service will begin at 10 a.m., and everyone is welcome.

Bethany Presbyterian Churc h on Elizabethtown Road in Lumberton, will have a Black History Month celebration at 11 a.m. on Sunday.
An old-fashioned potluck dinner will be served in the church’s dining room after the service. Everyone is invited.

Mount Olive United Methodist Church , 403 E. Elizabethtown Road, Lumberton, will have a Black History program Sunday afternoon at 3.
The celebration will include singing and instrumental music, praise dancing, poetry readings and African-American profiles. Gertrude P. Johnson, dramatic story teller, will be the special guest.

New Jerusalem Holiness Church , Red Springs, will host a benefit singing for Darlene Jacobs, a cancer patient, on Feb. 25.
The program begins at 7 p.m., and will feature: The Locklear Brothers and Wendy, The Singing Revelations, Truly Blessed and the New Jerusalem drama team.
Sandwiches and hot dogs will be on sale.
All proceeds will be used for Locklear’s medical expenses.

Fundraising

The youth ministry at Christian Fellowship Ministries of Rowland will sponsor a program on March 6 to raise money for a three-day trip in September to “The Holy Land Experience” in Orlando, Fla.
The March 6 program will begin at 4 p.m., and special guests will be Ministers Anthony and Rosa “Lady G” Faison of 107.7 radio. Their program is aired at 7 a.m. each Sunday.
