Camp Meeting

Life Line Church of God will host a Heritage Camp Meeting Sunday through Friday.

The services on Sunday will be at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m., and services Monday through Friday will be at 7 p.m.

Everyone is invited to hear seasoned preaching by former pastors who have stood for the truth of God’s Word throughout the years.

Life Line is on N.C. 41, between Lumberton and Fairmont, and .7 mile south of U.S. 74.

Nurses Guild

The Nurses Guild of First Baptist Church, Lumberton, will sponsor an anniversary program on Jan. 30 at 6 p.m.

The program will feature: Beatrice McDuffie, Greg Matthews, Charles Cook and The Voices of Maxton, The Southern Grove Male Chorus of Rowland, Second Chance of Dillon, S.C., The Royal Lights of Dillon, S.C. and The New Revelation of Charlotte.

Youth

The S.T.O.R.M. Youth group meets at Covenant Worship Center on Linkhaw Road in Lumberton each Wednesday night at 7. If you are 13 to 20 years old, you are invited to join the group.

Children’s ministry

Faith Farm, for children 4 to 12 years old, is held each Sunday morning at 10:30 at Covenant Worship Center on Linkhaw Road.

Family

Baldwin Branch Missionary Baptist Church will host its 2011 Family

Conference January 29 from 9 until 1 p.m.

Bible-based workshops and seminars such as, "Empowered Men of God,"

"Empowered Women of God," "How to Go After Your Destiny" (for young adults), "Boys-2-Men," "Youth Dance Ministry at Its Best" and "Computers in Christian Education" will be available for the entire family, plus an inspiring sermon.

Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. There is no fee. Baldwin Branch is at 4047 N.C. 242 S., Elizabethtown.

Special events

Faith Assembly of God, St. Pauls, will have its Old-Fashioned Day service on Sunday.

Harvest Church of the Assemblies of God will host “The Classic Christian Woman” this evening at 7. The Rev. Sandra McMillan of Maxton Assembly of God will be the speaker.

Harvest Church is at 986 Raynham Farms Road, Rowland.

Gentlemen, put on your Sunday-go-to-meeting overalls and ladies wear your prettiest bonnets. Load up the children in the wagon, and come worship with the Faith Assembly family.

Dinner will be served in the fellowship hall after the Sunday’s worship service, so plan to stay and fellowship for a while.

Tournament

All Nations Church of Jesus Christ, Inc. will sponsor a basketball tournament in February. The dates will be announced later. Admission fees will be $15 per person, with a minimum of 10-15 players.

Teams should respond by Jan. 24. Volunteer referees are also asked to contact the coach.

Music

The Walkers of Perry, Fla., will be in concert at 11 a.m. Sunday at Victory Christian Fellowship, Church of God of Prophecy.

The church is on U.S. 301 North, near Robeson Community College.

Diana Y. Washington, minister of music at Cromartie Temple of Praise in Lumberton, will do a live recording of her new project entitled “It’s Not Over.” The event will be Saturday at 5 p.m. in the A. D. Lewis Auditorium on the campus of Robeson Community College. General admission tickets are $10 and may be purchased by calling Linda Bostic at (910) 738-1751 or (910) 536-3843.

New Jerusalem Holiness Church, 166 Wicker Road, Red Springs, will begin hosting monthly singings on the first Sunday of the month starting in February.

The Dixie Melody Boys will be in concert Feb. 3 at Elizabethtown Primary School. The concert will begin at 6 p.m. The Dixie Melody Boys have enjoyed much success, including a Grammy nomination and numerous fan award nominations from The Singing News Magazine. Recent hit releases include “I’ll Be Living That Way,” “I Won’t Compromise,” “Wecome Home,” “Antioch Church Choir,” and “I’m One of Them.” For information, call (910) 863-3808.

Northside Independent Church will have its monthly singing Feb. 6 at 2:30 p.m. Everyone is invited. The church is at 378 Circle Drive, Lumberton.
