ROWLAND — June Nygaard of Rowland, past regent of the Col. Thomas Robeson Chapter of Daughters of the American Revolution, was installed as district director of District VII at the annual meeting and workshop in Rockingham on Aug. 24.
District VII includes chapters in Lumberton; Fayetteville; Albemarle; Dunn; Pinehurst; Rockingham; Sanford; Southern Pines and Wadesboro. Other officers installed at the meeting were District VII Vice Director Leah Brennan from Pinehurst and Secretary/Treasurer Ann Yamrus from Sanford.
