LUMBERTON — The Lumberton Junior High School Technology Club presented projects at the recent meeting of the Lambda chapter of the Delta Kappa Gamma Society International.

Students, including Raven Rusk, Nick McGarry and Trey Floyd, showed photos of a model of a city they created, as well as robot models. They demonstrated the robots by placing them on the floor and giving commands or clapping to indicate actions. They also spoke about preparing and filming their own commercial for The Intimidator roller coaster at Carowinds.

Members of the society also contributed cell phones and used eyeglasses for projects like “Rinse and Read.” The society is made of active and retired women teachers.
