LUMBERTON — Marylayn Lushion, of East Fifth Street, reported on Thursday that someone stole an $18,000 trailer belonging to the state Department of Transportation from the street, according to a police report.

LUMBERTON — Patricia Carter, of Somewhere in Time Antiques on Kahn Drive, reported on Thursday that someone took a $7,000 air conditioner unit from the building, according to a police report.

LUMBERTON — Harvey Henke, of The Repair Shop on East Second Street, reported on Thursday that someone lifted a chain-link fence on the property to steal about $280 in supplies that were later recovered, according to a police report. The thieves also stole $250 in car batteries and a $250 battery charger.

Henke reported $150 damage to the fence.

LUMBERTON — Jimmy Kirk, of Ocean Pines, Md., reported on Thursday that someone broke into his Kia Sorento while it was parked at the Howard Johnson on Capuano Drive and took a $200 GPS and two keyless entry remotes valued at $80, according to a police report.

Kirk reported $600 damage to a window in the car.
