LUMBERTON — Pamela Stewart, of Walmart at 5070 Fayetteville Road, reported Wednesday that someone used 27 counterfeit $50 bills to buy electronics, according to a police report.

n Break-ins

LUMBERTON — Stanley Wittey, of Freedom Drive, reported Wednesday that someone broke into his home and took a $600 laptop, according to a police report.

LUMBERTON — Michael Gorton, of Pineview Road, reported Thursday that someone burned a padlock off of his storage building with a torch and took a $3,000 dirt bike and a $250 saw, according to a police report.

Ciarre Banks, of Willow Drive in St. Pauls, and Christopher Chavis, of Woods Road in Pembroke, reported break-ins to the Robeson County Sheriff’s Office.

The story of the crook passing 27 $50 bills at one time, to buy "electronics" at Wally World is hilarious!!!! Any batch of counterfeit bills have the SAME serial number. And some clerk took 27

$50's in the same department without questioning it? Too funny!!!!!!!!!
