LUMBERTON — Christian York, of Oakwood Manor at Roberts Avenue, reported on Monday someone robbed him and six others at gunpoint while at his home and took electronics valued at $640, two wallets valued at $50 each, and $177 cash, according to a police report.
LUMBERTON — Two men attempted to break into a car on West 24th Street and then took a cell phone and a pair of shoes from an unlocked vehicle parked at a motel early Tuesday morning, according to police reports.
Mary Hardy, of 24th Street, reported shortly after midnight on Tuesday that the two men, one of whom she described as Indian, and about 5 foot 8 inches tall and 150 pounds, attempted to break into a neighbor’s 2003 Chevrolet Cavalier, according to a police report. Benson reported that after she yelled at the men, the two, one on foot and one on a bicycle, fled in the direction of the bridge at exit 19 on Interstate 95.
Two men, one of whom matched the description Hardy gave police, was seen running from the Knights Inn at 2333 Lackey St. after Michael Mcarin, of Cardinal Avenue, reported that someone entered his unlocked 1998 Ford Contour while it was parked at the business and took a $70 cell phone and a $100 pair of shoes, according to the report.
LUMBERTON — Kenneth Hunt, of Shannon Road in Shannon, reported on Monday that someone entered his unlocked 2001 Chevy Silverado while it was parked at Golden City at 4280 Kahn Drive and took a $200 GPS and a cell phone valued at $100, according to the report.
LUMBERTON — Marie Hunt, of Dew Road in Rowland, reported on Monday that someone broke the front passenger window of her 2003 Mitsubishi Galant while it was parked at Pleasant Pizza at 3557 Fayetteville Road, according to a police report.
Hunt reported $300 damage to the window.
LUMBERTON — Nicole Lloyd, of West 22nd Street, reported on Monday that someone kicked in a door to her home and took an $1,800 computer, two video game systems and gaming accessories valued at $619, a $99 television, a $200 cell phone, a $30 HDMI cable and a $15 jewelry box, according to a police report.
Llyod reported $150 damage to the door’s frame.
