LUMBERTON — Sabrina Scott, 42, of Valtee Drive, reported on Wednesday that someone broke into her home and stole $1,500 in electronics and a $1,200 vacuum cleaner, according to a sheriff’s report.

LUMBERTON — Carol Kendall, 59, of Norment Road, reported on Wednesday that someone broke into her home and stole $1,325 in jewelry, a $500 jewelry box, and a $300 gun, according to a sheriff’s report.

FAIRMONT — Charles Whittle, 37, of Natural Drive, reported on Wednesday that someone stole a $2,000 air conditioning unit and $500 in scrap metal from his home, which was recently destroyed by a fire, according to a sheriff’s report.

FAIRMONT — Jimmy Freeman, 58, of Herring Road, reported on Wednesday that someone broke into his home and stole $800 in cash and a $750 gun, according to a sheriff’s report.

SHANNON — Ginger Chavis, 39, of Rennert Road, reported on Wednesday that someone kicked her 2000 Ford van, causing $1,500 damage to a back door, according to a sheriff’s report.

MAXTON — Brian Upchurch, 27, and Toria Upchurch, 33, both of Jonathan Drive, reported on Wednesday that someone broke into their home and stole property, according to a sheriff’s report.

Missing were $1,310 in electronics, a $600 pit bull, $300 in DVDs, $270 in crystal figurines, $250 in groceries, $60 in kitchen ware, $22 in clothing, $18 in medications, and a $15 VHS tape.

LUMBERTON — Sean Ward, 33, of Obarn Drive, reported on Wednesday that someone stole an air conditioning unit from his property on Mt. Moriah Church Road, according to a sheriff’s report.

It was valued at $3,000. Witnesses say they saw a white Chevrolet S-10 pickup truck leave the scene.

LUMBERTON — Crystal Simpler, 21, of Snake Road, reported on Wednesday that someone stole her 1999 Buick Century from the Robeson County Health Department on Caton Road, according to a police report.

It was valued at $3,000.

LUMBERTON — Ricky Dale Dowless Jr., 29, of 600 Ash St., Bladenboro, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with possession of crack cocaine, according to a police report.

He was being held at the Robeson County jail under a $1,000 bond.
