ST. PAULS — James Church, 35, of 5338 Chicken Foot Road, was arrested on Tuesday and charged with felony breaking and entering and larceny, according to a sheriff’s report.
He was being held under a $5,000 bond.
LUMBERTON — Cyrus Sanderson, 38, of 156 W. Carthage Road, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with felony breaking and entering and larceny, according to a sheriff’s report.

LUMBERTON — Catherine Carter, 54, of Crystal Lane, reported on Monday that someone broke into her home and stole property, according to a sheriff’s report.
Missing were $2,900 in electronics, a $300 jewelry box, a $179 vacuum cleaner, and $150 in cash. Damages were $800 to a computer desk and $200 to a front door.
LUMBER BRIDGE — Happy Mart on Fayetteville Street reported on Tuesday that someone broke into the store and stole $315 in cigarettes and $20 in snack cakes, according to a sheriff’s report.
Damages were $15,000 to a cash register and $1,500 to the front doors.
RED SPRINGS — Telisha Locklear, 27, of Mount Tabor Road, reported on Sunday that someone broke into her home and stole property, according to a sheriff’s report.
Missing were a $175 gun, a $153 paintball gun, $100 in electronics, and $25 in knives.
ROWLAND — Ethel Filmore, 55, of Biggs Road, reported on Wednesday that someone stole a 2004 Ford Taurus from her home, according to a sheriff’s report.
It was valued at $10,000.
FAIRMONT — Freeman Farms on Bailey Road reported on Tuesday that someone stole property from a shed, according to a sheriff’s report.
Missing were a $1,000 golf cart, $250 in flu vaccines, $170 in livestock prods, $152 in tools, $110 in 12-volt batteries, $32 in boots, and a $30 water hose.
FAIRMONT — William Pittman, 57, of Atkinson Mill Road, reported on Tuesday night that someone kicked down a door to his home and shot him in his hip, according to a sheriff’s report.
Pittman was treated and released from Southeastern Regional Medical Center.
MAXTON — Murphy Brown Farms of Fairley Road reported on Tuesday that someone stole property from a barn, according to sheriff’s report.
Missing were $800 in tools, a $200 weed-eater, $50 in uniforms, $50 in towels, a $50 telephone, and $48 in gloves. Damages were $10 to a lock and $10 to a chain-link fence.
LUMBERTON — Rachel Wartor, 31, of Marigold Lane, reported on Tuesday that someone broke into her home and stole $2,800 in cash, $1,600 in guns, and $850 in electronics, according to a sheriff’s report.
Damage to a door was $500.
LUMBERTON — Tomeka LeSane, 37, of Robert Bessie Road, reported on Monday that someone broke into her home and stole a $900 television, according to a sheriff’s report.

LUMBER BRIDGE — Elvis Williams, 27, of Fayetteville, reported on Tuesday that someone stole his 2002 Ford Explorer SUV from the parking lot of Mount Calvary Holiness Church on Barlow Road, according to a sheriff’s report.
It was valued at $5,500.
LUMBERTON — Anita Blanks, 54, of Rennert Road, reported on Tuesday that someone broke into her home and stole $2,250 in electronics and $1,050 in guns, according to a sheriff’s report.
Damage to a window was $150.
LUMBERTON — Days Inn on Roberts Avenue reported on Tuesday that someone broke into two hotel rooms and stole property, according to a police report.
Missing were $160 in kitchen appliances, $140 in electronics, $100 in linens, and $30 in pillows. Damage to a door was $300.
LUMBERTON — Denton Howard, 44, of Chippewa Street, reported on Tuesday that someone stole $225 in copper and a $150 handgun from his home, according to a police report.
LUMBERTON — Verdie Hammonds, 42, of Marshall Street, reported on Tuesday that someone broke into her home, damaged her property, and stole a $150 television and $20 in dream catchers, according to a police report.
Damages were $300 to a water heater, $200 to an air conditioning unit, $200 to a washing machine and dryer, $150 to a window, $50 to a television, $30 to a karaoke machine, $25 to a vacuum cleaner, and $15 to a fan.
LUMBERTON — Billy King, 59, of Bessie Road, reported on Tuesday that someone damaged his 2003 Jeep Cherokee while it parked on Walnut street, according to a police report.
Damages were $500 to a right rear quarter panel and $250 to a passenger side window.
