Robbery

LUMBERTON — Willie Cobbs, of Warwick Mill Road, reported on Saturday that someone robbed him of $170 at gunpoint near Fifth and Chippewa streets, according to a police report.

Theft

LUMBERTON — William Gerald, of West Road, reported on Saturday that someone took a $1,000 trailer from the back of his 2000 Nissan Frontier while it was parked at Del Sol at 2177 Roberts Ave., according to a police report.

Gerald reported that the trailer held lawn equipment valued at $4,900.

LUMBERTON — Martinez Hernandez, of Robert’s Avenue, reported on Sunday that someone took his 1995 Buick LeSabre valued at $2,200 while it was parked at his home, according to a police report.

Pedro Lopez, also of Roberts Avenue, reported that a $10 wallet containing $180 cash was in the vehicle when it was stolen.

LUMBERTON — Renee Powers, of Walnut Street, reported on Sunday that someone took a $5,000 Honda Accord belonging to her mother Virginia Powers while it was parked at a home at Inglewood Avenue, according to a police report.

Vandalism

LUMBERTON — Ursula McMillan, of Holly Ridge Apartments at Sinclair Street, reported on Sunday that someone broke a window of her home, causing $200 damage, according to a police report.

LUMBERTON — Charlie Stone, of East 13th Street, reported on Saturday that someone broke a window of his home, causing $250 damage, according to a police report.

Stone also reported $100 damage to an air conditioning duct and $50 damage to wires in an electrical box.

Fraud

LUMBERTON — Misty Jacobs, of Sun-Do at 3555 N. Roberts Ave. and Erica Smith, of Lumber River Trading Company at 1975 N. Roberts Ave., each reported on Sunday that someone had attempted to pay for items using a counterfeit $10 bill, according to police reports.

Break-ins

LUMBERTON — Leon Becoats, of Lumber River Baptist Association at 155 Plainview Drive, reported on Friday that someone pried open a door to a storage shed and took lawn equipment valued at $7,799, according to a police report.

Becoats reported $50 damage to the door. A refrigerator valued at $50 was later found, according to the report.
