Robbery

LUMBERTON — Kenneth Jenkins, of Willow Street, reported on Monday that a gunman robbed him of $658 cash, two checks valued at $698 and a $50 cell phone while in the area of Chippewa and First streets, according to a police report.

Fraud

LUMBERTON — David Horne, of Dollar General at 2505 Martin Luther King Drive, reported on Monday that someone tried to pay for merchandise with a counterfeit $10 bill, according to a police report.

Break-ins

FAIRMONT — Authorities are seeking information in a break-in at Gaston Sealey Company and the Tuesday morning theft of a metal utility trailer from a home on Iona Street. Anyone with information is asked to call detective Roy Grant at 910-628-5115. Callers can remain anonymous.

LUMBERTON — Kim Hunt, of Fat Abs Flea Market at 1023 W. Fifth St., reported on Monday that someone broke into the business and took a $125 weed-eater, a $200 bicycle, a $20 tool set and jewelery valued at $150, according to a police report.

Hunt reported that $250 of lawn equipment belonging to the business was later found. Damage to a window was reported at $300.
